This session will look at a range of issues of interest to the community, around the questions:

This is timely, as a significant interest to the e-learning community, emerging from recent research and development work, is the relationship between e-learning domains, including Portfolio and Assessment, - on which this session will centre, - and how such relationships can be modelled and understood.


As starting points to these discussions, we shall take up


We aim to build on the enthusiastic discussions which have taken place already and to broaden that out to include all CETIS domains, to the extent that mapping between these domains can be envisaged.


It’s hoped that this session will draw out some of the complex issues raised by domain modelling and ontologies, and identify approaches to address these issues in the future.
